I generally have to temper my attitude in order to keep my temper in check.
Temper: A particular state of mind or feelings. Especially in respect to irritability, patience or outbursts of anger.
Temper: A substance added to something to modify it's properties or
qualities. Such as in cooking you may add certain ingredients to temper
to flavor.
Temper: To soften or tone down. To moderate or mitigate. To temper justice with mercy.
Temper: To moisten, mix or work up to proper consistency, as clay or mortar.
