Power is a fantastic attribute to possess. It can also be a debilitating attribute. Power when used correctly is strength and wealth. When used incorrectly is abuse and harassment.
Power is many things from a personality trait to a force which moves machines and tools.
Dark cold stormy rainy days can be appealing to me. I can really enjoy snuggling up in a warm blanket next to a roaring fireplace watching a good movie as I hear the pouring rain outside my window. Somehow that brings me reminiscent sort of comfort. But after a while the cold wet whether gets very old and I long for the warmth of a sunny day.
I was born and have lived in Southern California all my life, so I am a warm weather person. I love the sunshine. I love waking up in the morning to see hints of sunlight peaking through my windows. It brings me a sense of cheer and joy. I become jubilant and feel alive with the feel of the sun on my face.

One of the best times I've ever experienced is taking a leisurely drive to the neighborhood park to enjoy a relaxing picnic lunch and take in the sunshine. Sitting on the beach watching the waves crash to shore as the heat of the sun hits my body brings me a peace of mind that is like no other. I live for the sunshine.
It is quite fascinating to think of all the possibilities available from our natural resources. Not too long ago the thought of harnessing power from the sun was just a theory and something futuristic. For hundreds of years we've used the sun to dry our clothes and food, but it is only recently that we have been able to use it to generate power.
The sun is 93,000,000 miles away from the Earth and is astonishingly powerful. Only a miniscule fraction of the sun's energy actually hits the earth, but that is enough to power the earth many times over. In each 24 hour period enough energy reaches the earth to meet our power needs for more than 25 years. With time we will figure out how to properly harness this solar power.
It is with this fascination of new technology that the word of the day is chosen.
With solar energy an electric automobile can be charged for pennies each day. Compare that to paying $4.00 plus for a gallon of gas. A solar powered automobile can be powered for even less money.
